Mapping the World of Women’s Information Services is an online database in which you can find information on women's information centres and libraries that are open to the public. It currently contains more than 375 women’s information centres from over 125 countries and is updated weekly. Mapping the World operates on the International Information Centre and Archives for the Women’s Movement (IIAV) homepage in Amsterdam.

Stop Violence Against Women (STOPVAW)
A STOPVAW a nőkkel szembeni erőszakot az egyik az emberi jogokat leginkább sértő dolognak tartja a világon. A honlap a nők jogainak érdekében fellépő szervezetek, döntéshozók részére nyújt hasznos információkat a közép-kelet európai országok és a Független Államok Közösségének jogszabályairól, és más adatokról a témában a nők elleni erőszak mindenféle formájának a megállítása érdekében. A honlapot a Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights fejlesztette az United Nations Development Fund for Women UNIFEM és a Society Institute’s Network Women’s Program (OSI) támogatásával.

STOPVAW is a site developed by Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights as a tool for the promotion of women’s human rights in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The site was developed with support from and in consultation with the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) and the Open Society Institute’s Network Women’s Program (OSI). This site addresses violence against women as one of the most pervasive human rights abuses worldwide. The STOPVAW site provides women’s rights advocates with information focused on ending the most endemic forms of violence against women in the region

On the Gender statistics section one can find data, and data resources, but also an on-line dataminer, which can provide very fast statistics relating to gender e.g. demography, decision making, education, work and economy, etc.

UNIFEM
UNIFEM is the women's fund at the United Nations, dedicated to advancing women’s rights and achieving gender equality. It provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programmes and strategies that foster women's empowerment. World Health Organization (WHO) Department of Gender and Women’s Health (GWH)
A WHO Gender és a nők egészségvel foglalkozó osztályának feladata, hogy a WHO különböző programjaiban érvényesítse a gender szempontúságot, illetve olyan elhanyagolt területeken folytat kutatást és gyűjt információt, amelyek közvetlenül befolyásolhatják a nők egészségét, mint pl. a nők elleni erőszak. Az oldalon számos WHO által készített kutatási anyag és adat található a nők egészségi állapotáról.

The Department of Gender and Women’s Health is charged with helping WHO’s various programs and departments undertake the challenge of integrating gender considerations into their work. It is also responsible for researching and disseminating information on neglected topics directly pertaining to women’s health, such as gender-based violence against women.

Ženska Infoteka a horvátországi női információs és dokumentációs központja, amely 1992-ben alakult Zágrábban. Ženska Infoteka is women’s information and documentation center founded in Zagreb in December 1992. Focus and goals are: preservation of knowledge about women’s history and women’s movements in Croatia as well as constant work to make public aware of it, promotion of and support to women’s groups and individual women working to achieve global and true equality in all of the fields of human endeavor and support to all of the attempts to make women and their achievements more visible and valued by the society.

Rewind Net Regional Network of Info-Doc Centers
Rewind Net közép-kelet európai és néhány közép-ázsiai ország női információs és dokumentációs központjainak regionális hálózata, amelynek jelenleg 15 tagja van. Magyarországi Női Alapítvány (MONA) / Foundation for the Women of Hungary
A MONA mindenki számára nyitott, pártsemleges, non-profit nőszervezet. A honlap célja, hogy képet adjon a nők helyzetét elemző és segítő hazai és nemzetközi kutatásokról és programokról. A honlap egyben virtuális könyvtárként és adatbázisként is szolgál, a MONA lehetőséget kínál közösségének arra, hogy gender témájú kutatás eredményeket (tanulmányokat) tegyen közé, illetve töltsön le a honlapjáról.

The founders of MONA have taken the ambitious mandate to help to redefine and improve the role of women in Hungarian society. Membership in MONA is open to all, both Hungarian citizens and foreigners, natural or legal persons alike. This website also serves as a virtual library (Gender Research) and a subregional database (Subregional Women’s Center) at the same time, offering an opportunity for users and readers to add publications and papers in gender-oriented research and submit their own website or other new entries they consider worth adding to the database.

Mama Cash
Mama Cash Holland civil szervezet, amely kisösszegű támogatást nyújt más olyan civil szervezeteknek, amelyek a nők jogaiért harcolnak akár networkök építésével, akár konferenciák szervezésével.

Mama Cash is a Dutch NGO that provides small grants for NGOs working on women’s rights, networking, conferencing, etc. throughout the world.

Nők a Nőkért Együtt az Erőszak Ellen Egyesület (NaNE)
A Nők a Nőkért Együtt az Erőszak Ellen Egyesület (NaNE) 1994. januárjában alakult azzal a céllal, hogy segélyvonalat indítson bántalmazott nők részére. A NaNe az egyetlen Magyar civilszervezet,a mely a nők elleni erőszak ellen közvetlenül lép fel. A honlapon az olvasók tájékozódhatnak arról, hogy mit is jelent az erőszak, annak milyen formái vannak. A NaNe kiadványaival, önsegítő csoportok szervezésével próbál segíteni az áldozatokon, illetve fellépni az nőkkel szembeni erőszak ellen Magyarországon. A NaNe telefonos ügyelete naponta 18-22 óra között hívható.

NaNe Association was founded in January 1994. The aim of the organization was to start a emergency line for mistreated women, since this is the only emergency line for them. The NaNe is the only NGO in Hungary which focuses on the violence against women. The homepage gives information about what is violence, and what are the forms of violence. The organization also provides publications, brochures and organizing self-helping groups to help mistreated women and to promote action on violence against women in Hungary. The organization accept calls everyday 18.00-22.00. (Homepage available only in Hungarian.)

BKÁE Társadalmi Nem- és Kultúrakutató Központ / BUEPA Gender and Cultural Studies Center
Társadalmi Nem- és Kultúrakutató Központ a Budapesti Közgazdaságtudományi és Államigazgatási Egytem (BKÁE) Szociológia Tanszékén alakult 2001-ben. A Központ célja, hogy koordinálja és továbbfejlessze a BKÁE-n a társadalmi nemekre irányuló oktatási és kutatási tevékenységet, valamint az Egyetemet bekapcsolja a témakörrel kapcsolatos hazai és nemzetközi tudományos hálózatokba.

Gender and Cultural Studies Center was established by the Department of Sociology the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration (BUEPA) in 2001. The goal of the Centre is to coordinate and develop teaching and researching of gender studies at the University, and make a link between the University and the Hungarian and international gender research networks.
