Have you heard about the project "InGRID- Inclusive Growth Research Infrastructure Diffusion"?
InGRID is funded by the European Commission's 7th Framework Programme and brings together 17 academic partners between 2013 and 2017 in an academic consortium.
The general objectives of InGRID – Inclusive Growth Research Infrastructure Diffusion – are to integrate and to innovate existing, but distributed European social sciences research infrastructures on ‘Poverty and Living Conditions’, ‘Working Conditions and Vulnerability’ and ‘Policy Analysis’ by providing transnational data access, organising mutual knowledge exchange activities and improving methods and tools for comparative research.
The project aims to integrate and optimise these existing European data infrastructures and accompanying expertise. Three types of activities will be organised:
Apply now for the first expert workshop of the project on framework and methods for indicator building for various vulnerable groups. The workshop will take place in Budapest, on 27-29 November 2013. Deadline for applications: September 15th, 2013.
- Joint research to improve the quality, accessibility and comparability
- The organisation of expert workshops and summer schools in order to promote knowledge transfer
- Researchers from other institutes and countries are invited to data expert centres.
During the project we can offer research visits to data expertise centres, “Transnational access to TARKI-POLC“ applicants can achieve expertise in applied quantitative social research, data collection and data archiving. Calls will be opened for these and other activities four times a year.
