TÁRKI Social Research Inc. is an independent, employee-owned research organisation that specialises in policy research in the fields of social policy and the social consequences of economic policies. This includes related data-collection, archiving and statistical activities. We recently increased our involvement in the areas of strategic market research and health policy analysis. In addition, we regularly contribute to basic research, in the areas of social stratification and inequality, and to the methodology of empirical social research.

Curriculum Vitae (pdf)
Tamás KELLER holds a PhD in Sociology (Corvinus University, Budapest) and has served as a researcher at TARKI Social Research Institute since 2006. He regularly contributes to publications edited by TARKI and has published studies in renowned regional (Czech Review of Sociology, Polish Sociological Review, Studies of Transition States and Societies) and Hungarian periodicals (e.g. Közgazdasági Szemle [Economic Review], Szociológiai Szemle [Hungarian Sociological Review], and Statisztikai Szemle [Statistical Review]). He participated in the following international projects in the last years:

• "European Observatory on the Social Situation" commissioned by the European Commission to monitor social and demographic trends in the European Union
• "GINI" project with the focus on the distribution of inequalities in income and wealth.
• "WORCARE" project, supported by the sixth EU framework programme and focusing on the changing relation between work and care across Europe
• World Value Survey (WVS) conducting the Hungarian part of the fifths wave.
