TÁRKI Social Research Inc. is an independent, employee-owned research organisation that specialises in policy research in the fields of social policy and the social consequences of economic policies. This includes related data-collection, archiving and statistical activities. We recently increased our involvement in the areas of strategic market research and health policy analysis. In addition, we regularly contribute to basic research, in the areas of social stratification and inequality, and to the methodology of empirical social research.

Clients and partners

The clients of TÁRKI reflect the multitude of research activities we carry out. Several ministries and government agencies are regular clients of TÁRKI, that rely on our analyses in their policy evaluation and decision making activities. TÁRKI works with many of the biggest businesses in the country, including several multinational operations, in their business intelligence activities, mostly in the banking, information technology, telecommunication and pharmaceutical sectors. Internationally, many national and supranational developmental and financial organizations commissioned TÁRKI to carry out analyses and surveys for Hungary or the entire Central and Eastern European region. Also, TÁRKI is a regular partner of many universities in carrying out international comparative surveys and analyses.
