Open: Monday – Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 15:30 p.m. TÁRKI LibraryTÁRKI Library was founded in 1990 and has been working as part of the Social Science Databank. Its initial purpose was to serve the colleagues both working in TÁRKI and teaching or studying sociology at universities. Now, it is a limited public library. Its collection interest is methodology and other fields of sociology. The collection includes about 8000 volumes. Services:
Andorka LibraryAndorka Foundation and TÁRKI according to the wish of the Andorka family take care of the library which was offered to public purposes by Rudolf Andorka who died in 1997. The Andorka legacy includes more than 5000 volumes. It is completed by the donations of Professors Béla Buda and László Cseh-Szombathy. Several publishers and other institutes support updating the collection. The archives part and the collection of periodicals are under cataloguing but they will be available soon. There are works from almost all fields of sociology in the Andorka collection. Main fields are: demography, sociology of family, social mobility, poverty, deviancy. Andorka library is available for university teachers and students. Services:
